This is a federally funded position that will be evaluated annually. One-Year Contact.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Facilitate the implementation of the Bilingual/ESL/Dual Language programs and maintain all proper documents for all Emergent Bilingual students.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

High School diploma or GED

Two (2) years of study in an accredited institution of higher education preferred

Bilingual: English and Spanish

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Proficient use of computer, printer, copier, scanner and calculator

Must be proficient in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)

Ability to interpret and follow instructions

Ability to relate well with school personnel, parents, and the community Ability to keep well organized reliable records

Strong evidence of ability to work effectively and collaborate with others

Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn new skills and electronic systems

Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Occasional districtwide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
